The Mobile War Museum
School Workshops and The Sabre War Museum on the Web
Sabre curates tailored 'Mobile War Museums' from our extensive range of researched artefacts to bring selected collections and historic military vehicles to schools for handling and display in South East QLD. The accompanying workshops and presentations are professionally delivered to give insights into the history of the selected era and the artefacts.
We also offer an online museum and gallery of military artefacts from a wide range of eras that can dovetail into our School and University programmes for pre and post workshop engagement. A visual guide for teachers, students and military history enthusiasts in tandem with our in-person workshops.
Teachers are welcome to contact us for usage of accompanying guides, worksheets, questionnaires and school visits that dovetail into the National History Curriculum by showcasing and explaining a range of genuine period artefacts and primary source items.
Items and their context can be studied online and at tailored in-person lessons and workshops. A great way to allow meaningful presentations, discussions and the examination of primary source artefacts from history.

“I am writing to express gratitude to the Sabre Militaria Museum for the support given to our school during the Anzac Commemorations this year. As part of this year’s memorial, we created a space in our library to showcase genuine collectables of both World War 1 and World War 2. You kindly came along with a wide range of artefacts from original uniforms, to miniatures to inert weapons. These items both educated and enthralled our students. Thank you Sabre.”
