Replica Sten Gun SMG

Replica Sten Gun for sale Australia

Replica Sten Gun SMG for sale in Australia.

The 9mm Sten Gun was designed in 1940 by British Major Reginald Shepherd and Harold J Turpin as an easy to produce and reliable submachine gun.

Using simple stamped parts that required minimal machining and finishing, it filled a need Britain had for large quantities of small automatic weapons for their Infantry. Earlier versions were prone to jam and not always considered reliable, but progressive improvements made it a more reliable service weapon.

Firing from an open bolt with a blowback operation the weapon was mass produced in large numbers, many also being supplied to resistance movements across Europe, as well as providing short range firepower to Commonwealth Forces.

The Mark II was the most common version, and is the one Denix has made this high quality reproduction of in full metal for same size, weight and action of the real thing.

We are excited to be stocking a great range of Denix replica submachine guns and assault rifles starting in 2021.
