Sabre pleased to help with the 2021 Kokoda Challenge

Sabre was very pleased to be able to assist with the 2021 Kokoda Challenge event.

To add to the atmosphere of the Kokoda Challenge start point some historic military vehicles and props were needed, and we were delighted to assist. Heading out at 0430 on a chilly morning to set up displays before thousands of race goers arrived was a lot of fun.

The Kokoda Challenge is a 96km endurance walk course on the Gold Coast, Australia’s toughest team endurance event. The course starts in Mudgeeraba and winds through the Gold Coast Hinterland for teams of 4 to tackle the challenge.

The event raises funds for Aussie kids to participate in a variety of Youth Programs that are aimed at helping to change the lives of Aussie teens.

The event is also intended to educate Australians about the history of the Kokoda Campaign in 1942 and keep alive the memory of what Australian soldiers had to endure and achieved in WW2.
