Sabre Militaria has designed and delivered some tailored WW2 History sessions for High School Students
As part of the Australian National High School curriculum, a significant history unit has been on World War Two, and specifically propaganda and symbolism in the Third Reich.
Sabre Militaria has recently developed and delivered a series of presentations to High School history students. Sessions were carefully tailored to dovetail with National Curriculum and showcase selected artefacts, uniforms, documents and images to bring the history to life.
The content compared Allied approaches with those of Axis nations and explored the power that symbolism and propaganda had on the start, conduct and duration of the war.
To engage with actual period artefacts and see first-hand the way that different nations used their messaging and symbolism added great meaning and engagement to the students learning.
